I directed Rishi Chowdhary’s one-act play Gimme the Light for the Player’s Theatre’s Summer 2024 One Act Festival! Gimme the Light is about three friends stuck inside their parent’s convenience store during the NYC blackout of 2003 and how friendship (and cheetos and bud light and Sean Paul) keeps the city moving, even in disaster. This play was starring Spoorti Hegde as Nishant, Anuka Sethi as Sundeep, and Angbeen Saleem as Jyoti, and produced by Fresh Lime Soda.
