I directed the premiere of Bhai Bhai Bhai, a new humid pressure cooker dramedy about a power broker Mumbai family, at Teatro Latea (@ the Clemente Center). Written by Veer Arya, it was a treat to work with Adrian Harris as my Assistant Director and Stage Manager, Zen Tunsaringkran and Caleb J. Panavilayil as Costume Designers, Sean Lilis as Scenic Designer, Julia Little as Sound Designer, Anna Maria Blackwood as Fight Choreographer, and produced by the team at Basement Theatrics. Starring Raina Soman, Sasha Sen, Dhruv Nair, Abhishek Ojha, and Veer Arya, and photos by Jesse Herndon and Horacio Rojas. Highlight for me were the ample opportunities for staging crosstalk not originally in the text.
